On the day that Michelle Larcher de Brito defeated Meghann Shaughnessy at the Sony Ericsson, I had one of my biggest traffic days ever at zootennis. Mark Bey, the junior development coach from suburban Chicago, has a part-time gig as a hitting partner with the Bryan twins, and when he was in Key Biscayne with them last week, he managed to arrange a meeting between Mike and Bob and two ten-year-old twins, who are tennis-playing students of area coach Bill Clark. The USTA Florida website has an entertaining story about the encounter.
