After a routine foot surgery that Serena Williams had in New York, Serena got on a plane to fly back to Los Angeles where she lives. Unfortunately, the tennis star developed a dangerous blood clot in her lungs which is called a pulmonary embolism. The blood clot could have possibly killed her.
Hopefully this will not be the end of Serena's tennis career.
